Why is the Stimulus being spent to repair and build toilets?

Is this how God-King Obama intends to “stimulate” our economy? Wouldn’t this money have been better spent on economics lessons (in sound economics, not Keynesian pseudo-economics) for our economically ignorant chief executive?
Of course, the article you are quoting is picking and choosing facts, then presenting them as the whole story. Nothing about how many Americans visit those national parks each year and need a place to go to the bathroom. Nothing about how many years Republicans refused to keep up the National Park facilities because they were spending the money on a war in Iraq with no justification. (No terrorists and no weapons of mass destruction).
Your article says that the package spends $2.8 million of the $787 Billion dollar stimulous package on toilets in New Mexico’s numerous beautiful national parks. That’s 3 ten-thousandths of 1% of the total package! And that’s the best thing you could find to criticize?
The bill for Iraq is nearing $800 billion. More than the entire stimulous package and we didn’t even get any toilets for that. We did, however, get over 4000 dead American boys, and nearly 100,000 dead Iraqi civilians.
So who is spending the money better? Us building places so people don’t poop their pants or you building caskets?
