Fix Toilet Running
My bathroom was running, and tried to fix it, and ended up breaking one of the parties.?
The party who bulb is attached to floating. I'm trying to get the correct name for this piece, and suggestions on how to fix this problem myself. HELP!
go to Wal-Mart and look at the hard ceramic / plumbing department can get a universal replacement kit for less than $ 10.00 with instructions for installation. The float that attaches to an arm that binds to the overflow valve / stem. The handle on the outside of the toilet is added to an arm which normally has a string going to the cap / valve discharge. Just remember to turn the water supply to the toilet bowl and flush to drain the water to make it easier to work.
