how to add plumbing for a shower for an existing bathtub?

i already have a bathtub in the bathroom, but I want to add a shower ... curious to know how much it would cost a plumber do it

Depends on where you live. A small job like that should be in any range of 100-200 dollars. It may be too small for a plumber to take on what should consider purchasing a book on plumbing and carry yourself? Or, add another smaller work for the plumber to do such as replacing an old washer or valve close to make the job worthwhile.

My trash has started to drain into my bathtub on the ground floor. Any idea why?

I live in a two 1 / 2 two-story house with the kitchen upstairs and the master bedroom downstairs. Yesterday, the contents of my trash collection began arriving in the drainage of the bath. Any idea why this happened and what can I do to fix it? We do not have plumbing problems at home that I can see.

You could have a blockage further down the line, where the sample tube from the street. can Borow sewer snake?
